As most of you know, I have children with Special Needs. This last week one of our kiddos needed some medical attention. He was having a hard time breathing due to RSV. His O2 levels were in the mid to upper 80's. So I took him in Sunday evening where he was then hospitalized.

It was a long week and we finally brought him home yesterday. However, being a mom, you never leave their side. So I stayed there with him. I closed daycare for the week because RSV is contagious, and I also had to cancel some sessions, including finding another photographer to cover for me at a wedding this coming Saturday. So I of course was stressed and full of anxiety for many reasons.

This morning I got to have an impromptu visit for one of the Sunflower Fields grown by Fish Sunflowers. This field was in Gibbon. It was just what my heart and soul needed, even just for 30 minutes. It was a bit misty and muddy, however well worth the peace.
